In this three (3) credit course students will learn and use a broad range of methods used in both professional and academic research, including the formulation of theories and hypotheses, and performing empirical research. The qualitative and quantitative methods covered in the course include measurement, gathering, analysis and interpretation of data.
To aid students, and others, in their research and keeping abreast with politics, I've compiled a number of political sites to make the U.S. Political Resources page. Students in this class should find these resources useful for both keeping abreast of current politics and researching their course paper.
