Faculty Activities

The Political Science faculty at Virginia Tech publish actively in major national and international journals, write important books with prestigious academic presses, secure research grants from many sources in the U.S. and abroad as well as win highly competitive teaching awards both on- and off-campus.

As active research scholars, members of the faculty regularly review research grants for major granting bodies in the U.S. and abroad. At this time, Virginia Tech faculty members serve on the editorial boards of Capitalism, Nature, Socialism, Culture & Politics: An International Journal of Theory, Congress and the Presidency, Current Perspectives in Social Theory, disClosure, Ethics, Place and Environment, Fast Capitalism, International Journal of Innovation and Sustainable Development, International Political Sociology, Journal of Information Technology & Politics, Latin American Perspectives, Law and Politics Book Review, New Political Science, Organization & Environment, Presidential Studies Quarterly, Rhetoric & Public Affairs, Social Geography, and Telos.
