Pre-Law Advising at Virginia Tech

For further information or advice, please contact a pre-law advisor.Wayne Moore and Jennifer Hanratty are currently the University pre-law advisors, available to provide pre-law advice to the entire University community. Dr. Moore's office is 505 Major Williams Hall and Jennifer Hanratty is located in 119 Major Williams. You may e-mail the pre-law advisors at prelaw-at-vt.edu .

Other faculty members and career advisors also may be able to advise you on pre-law studies at Virginia Tech. For example, Prof. Janine Hiller (jhiller-at-vt.edu) serves as a pre-law advisor to students within the College of Business. Similarly, for information and advice relating to the pre-law track within the English Department's Literature, Language, and Culture Program, please contact Cathy Skinner (lskinner-at-vt.edu).

The preceding individuals, along with others at Career Services and the Counseling Center, may be able to direct you to additional persons within your particular field of study who may be able to offer such assistance.
